About Sweatcoin Guide

: It has been 20 months since I’ve launched this website, and it’s become the biggest Sweatcoin site available. In this time I’ve seen online communities blossom where Sweatcoiners (app users) have joined together to have fun, make friends, earn coins, and get sweaty. The news of this year (2018) has been very promising for the future of Sweatcoin. Many “competitors” have emerged, yet Sweatcoin has still reined the supreme leader in the world of incentivized fitness. I am honored to help educate people on the world of Sweatcoin and incentivized fitness. Please – unless you are bored – stop reading this and go check out the Sweatcoin Frequently Asked Questions page!

Hi! My name is Jason. I am a 30 year-old kid from California.

I discovered Sweatcoin one evening in December, 2016. Having researched digital currencies in the past such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin, I figured I’d give Sweatcoin a try as my first cryptocurrency. So I installed the app, minimized it, and forget about it for 18 hours.

I came back from a 5K (3.1 mile) race, a morning jog, and a walk. I opened the app to see 7 Sweatcoin waiting for me, and that’s where the excitement kicked in. With those 7 I could have bought a few magazines, song downloads, or energy supplement sampler. And that was only one morning of activity. I knew this app would take off. I became a Sweatcoiner.

However, the app is still in its infancy, and searching online didn’t reveal much news or advice about it. This thing was so new that it had just been released in America not too long ago. I realized that when people hear about it like me, they’re going to need a website to provide a first-hand experience from a regular guy such as myself.

I made this website in hopes of educating people who are just now finding out about Sweatcoin. In these pages are basic ideas how you can make the most of Sweatcoin, and some ideas what you should do with the coins you earn.

In these pages is also an encouragement: get out there, walk, run, be active, live your life to its fullest. You see, Sweatcoin embodies a critical truth, that we’re made for physical activity. We see the effects that sedentary, lazy lifestyles cause. We acknowledge an obesity epidemic spreading worldwide, yet we should not be satisfied with what preventative measures we have in place. Sweatcoin is that deciding factor that may cause people to shift their eyes on a more active lifestyle.

Viewing Sweatcoin as a currency is like viewing exercise is a currency. “Money can’t buy time,” it is said, but what if you really could buy time? Essentially, any form of physical activity is not only increasing the time you’ll be on this planet, but it’s also making your living years ones of higher quality. Physical exercise increases self-image, confidence, healthier eating habits, sex appeal, intellect, social status, mobility, flexibility, discipline, psychological health, and more. Exercise is a currency that purchases those things, as intangible as they may be. Sweatcoin makes them tangible by showing you, “Hey, you really do earn something by walking or running!” Therefore, it provides instant gratification for those things you do that are healthy for you. To many, this instant feedback from your physical activity may be the very thing missing required to motivate you to change your life and get healthy. Money can’t buy time, but exercise can.

I’m excited to see where Sweatcoin will go in the years to come. If you’ve read anything on Bitcoin, you’ll see the stories of people who collected the currency as a hobby in its infancy years go on to become literal overnight six-figure investors. Since Bitcoin, hundreds of ‘altcoins,’ digital currencies similar to Bitcoin, have popped up at a steady rate. But Sweatcoin is different. Much different. It has nothing to do with computers or equation solving. Your steps are the only processor you’ll need. Well, and a compatible phone, too. This means there are no blockchains, no ‘halvenings’, no limited quantity. As long as there is an open road, there’s the potential currency. I see Sweatcoin becoming a huge widespread trend in the media, with hundreds of thousands of people flocking to the app. In due time. Read more of my thoughts and theories in the my article, future of Sweatcoin.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Sweatcoin. I made this website with the intention of educating others on Sweatcoin and having a place to put my thoughts and research. All links to the Sweatcoin App are referral links, which means that if you install the app through my website, I am rewarded with 5 Sweatcoins (at no expense to you). That is my only incentive by maintaining this website, and I hope you benefit from the knowledge and insight I provide.
