Here’s what the Sweatcoin Marketplace looks like

Sweatcoin does not have an official marketplace nor exchange. That’s because it is not yet a Blockchain Currency (though it will soon be). Therefore, Sweatcoins are sold on this website on Reddit or Discord or on forums. The value of each coin is always fluctuating.

Before the recent big announcement of an impending exchange, Sweatcoins were valued anywhere between $0.02 – $0.05 United States Dollars. However, after the announcement they shot up nearly double to $0.05 – $0.09. This is again not an official price but an observation on what people bought and sold Sweatcoin for.

How do you determine Sweatcoin’s value?

Right now, the only concrete way to value a Sweatcoin is to see what it can buy you in the Offers Marketplace. If you can exchange 100 Sweatcoin for a product worth $10, then each coin has a value of $0.10 for that single offer. Other offers might only reward you $0.02 savings per coin spent, so that would not be a good offer to purchase.

The future of Sweatcoins’ value and price

When the new blockchain hits, it’s very likely that you’ll see a definitive value per coin. In my new post about the announcement, I mention that Sweatcoin are likely to be linked to this new cryptocurrency via conversion. You’ll most likely convert the Sweatcoins you earn by walking and running into the new blockchain coin. It won’t likely be possible to mine the new Sweatcoin on a computer, so you’ll still need to walk and run to earn the new coins. Or you can buy the new coins on an official exchange.

As I’ve predicted since December 2016, I can easily see Sweatcoins (as we know them today) becoming worth $0.25 usd per coin. That seems like a very reasonable value reward per mile. In order to redeem this, you’d have to convert into the new coin, or you’d have to buy an offer that interests you on the marketplace.

How do I buy or invest in Sweatcoin right now?
